The Project of Incinerator Fly Ash Reduction and Recycling Promotion in 2019

Absrtact
The project was executed from June 28th, 2019 to March 31st, 2020. Achievements made in this project: 1.Fly ash reduction technologies that can be adopted in the incinerator retrofitting project, including the existing incinerator, which can improve facilities slightly, such as replacement of exhaust gas de-acidification chemical agents, updating of fly ash recycling technology (only for dry acid removal systems) and catalyst filtration Bags. The new incinerators can consider the improvement measures, such as the use of sodium bicarbonate as de-acidification chemical agents, 2-stage dust collection, wet smoke washing or 2-stage [(semi) dry + wet] acid removal technology, exhaust gas recirculation and low-temperature selective catalyst reduction and reuse of fly ash recycling. 2.The results of the fly ash reduction validation, one of the mode results show that the sodium-based reaction fly ash is less than the output before construction. In addition, the output of sodium-based reaction fly ash was reduced more compared the operation records of the calcium-based reaction fly ash. As for the sodium-based fly ash, the chloride ion and alkaline concentration are higher than those of the calcium-based fly ash, and the calcium content is less. Therefore, the sodium-based fly ash is not conducive for recycling. 3.Propose the future goals and improve measures of fly ash recycling. For example, short-range measures can increase the available temporary storage and landfill volume. Medium-range measures can promote the reduction of fly ash and decontamination after washing. Long-range measures can promote diversified recycling of ash or washed fly ash. 4.Provide management outline for the recycling of incinerator fly ash, recommend to be based on feasible technology, that is, washed ash as a raw material for cement raw materials.
